Brookhaven Tips: Houses, Vehicles, Roleplay Features, and Hidden Areas

Brookhaven RP is one of the most consistently popular games on Roblox — it's a free-roam roleplay town where players claim houses, pick jobs, drive cars, and create their own storylines. There's no objective, no leveling, no combat system. The entire appeal is player-driven social roleplay in a detailed suburban environment. If you're new, the lack of tutorial means some features take a while to find.

Getting a House

Every house in Brookhaven can be claimed by any player — there's no cost in game currency:

1. Walk up to an unclaimed house (no player name above the door)
2. Click on the door — you'll see an option to claim the house
3. Once claimed, the house is yours for the current session
4. Houses are released when you leave the game — you'll need to reclaim one each session

Using the House Customization Menu

Once you own a house, click the door or use the toolbar at the bottom to open house settings:

• Theme changes: Change the exterior and interior style of your house
• Furniture: Add, move, and remove furniture items. Many furniture pieces are free; some are Premium.
• Music: Play background music in your house
• Invite/lock: Control who can enter — lock your house to keep it private or open it to all players

Vehicles

To spawn a vehicle, open the toolbar at the bottom of the screen and click the car icon. A vehicle menu opens showing all available options. Free vehicles include basic sedans, pickup trucks, and a few other types. Premium vehicles (marked with a Robux price) include sports cars, luxury vehicles, and specialty types.

• Click any vehicle to spawn it in front of you
• Walk up to it and press E (or tap, on mobile) to enter
• Standard keyboard driving controls — WASD or arrow keys
• Only one vehicle can be spawned at a time per player

Jobs and Roles

Brookhaven has several jobs players can choose through the toolbar:

• Police Officer — comes with police car, uniform, and handcuffs prop
• Firefighter — fire truck and firefighter equipment
• Doctor — medical outfit
• Criminal — ski mask and dark outfit
• And several others

Jobs don't have mechanics attached — they're aesthetic role selections that give you a matching outfit and sometimes a special vehicle. All gameplay around the job is player-driven roleplay.

Hidden and Secret Areas

Brookhaven has several locations that aren't obvious from the main road:

• Underground bunker: Below the town — look for trap doors in certain buildings or follow other players who know where it is
• Secret tunnel: A hidden underground passage connecting two parts of the map
• Hospital interior: Fully modeled inside with examination rooms — less commonly used for RP despite being a full build
• Church and cemetery: Used heavily for specific RP scenarios, sometimes missed by new players

Brookhaven Without Robux

Brookhaven is fully playable without spending Robux. Free houses, free vehicles, free job costumes, and the full map are all available at no cost. Robux unlocks premium houses with more rooms, additional vehicle types, and some cosmetic extras — but none of these affect what you can actually do in the game. Every roleplay scenario works equally well with free assets.
